Leadership Bio

Karen is the Chief Financial Officer at Sezzle Inc. Since joining Sezzle in 2018, she built the finance function, worked with the leadership team to complete an initial public offering on the ASX, and raised two rounds of debt capital to fund balance sheet growth. She was honored as a CFO of the year by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in 2019. Before her role with Sezzle, Karen was a founding member with Bluestem Brands and occupied finance and credit management roles. She started her career with KPMG and has held senior leadership positions at US Bank and Lenders Trust. Karen volunteers her time as a board member and officer for the St. Paul Figure Skating Club. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Karen has a degree in accounting and her CPA (expired).
